”More people stay poor because of their egos than get rich off them.”—Alex Hormosi
Phase 1: Activation
I often find myself engaged debates and arguments with others regarding philosophical and social issues. Where speaking over each other and pushing another’s buttons becomes the prerogative instead of listening for problems, solutions and a way to make a difference in people’s lives. Ultimately, there seems to be a limitation to the value being received and given in this dynamic. It’s also that so much of the value to be given feels linked to the very thing I do for a living, and I do not want the thing to drown out relationships by pitching people my solution constantly. I have chosen to be provocative and passive-aggressive as a safer approach compared to being candid and direct when addressing people's problems.
