“A man is likely to mind his own business when it is worth minding. When it is not, he takes his mind off his own meaningless affairs by minding other people’s business.”—Eric Hoffer
Phase 1: Activation
Frustration: listening to people regurgitate accepted authorities or mass-approved ideas. As if they have no ideas of their own, have not formulated their own unique thoughts or cannot speak about their truth or own lived experience without citing an article, podcast, scientific study or party line trope from a circuit of knowledge that’s socially acceptable, safe or cool. Most speak from what will be liked, approved or expected and rarely from a raw and real place of intuition, inspiration or inner confidence that is outside the box of what only ‘experts’ are allowed to have opinions on.
