Phase 1: Activation
Confusion: Cutting off old friends and closing the door to old relationships feels both necessary and also ridden with guilt. Taking care of myself, moving on, letting go feels in conflict with the call to love, forgiveness and the sticky blame game entangled with in the downfall of each dynamic. It’s a whirlwind of confusion of how to move on cleanly without causing damage to myself or others.
